Salary: £80 - £90 per day, dependant on experience.

Job Description
Smile Education are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of one of our partner schools, a SEN Secondary School based in Wolverhampton.
The school is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students with special educational needs. Their students have a range of needs including Autism, SEMH needs, ADHD, physical disabilities, and sensory needs. The classes are semi-formal due to the needs of the students.
They are committed to creating a nurturing environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
They are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their individual goals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
Support students' social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and well-being.
Help to create and maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.
Contribute to the monitoring and recording of students' progress and development.Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs.
Experience working in a role supporting young people and/or adults with special educational needs.
Relevant Qualifications – e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or similar (i.e. childcare).
Strong communication skills.
A passion for supporting SEN children and a knowledge of specific SEN conditions.
