Play Therapist

Salary: £18,798 per annum,pro rata (£31,331 FTE)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, (some evenings and weekends)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing therapeutic services at ellenor providing specialist palliative care to adults and children across Dartford Gravesham, Swanley and for children this also includes Bexley.

Do you have the skills to provide therapeutic support during times of life-limiting illness, grief, and bereavement? Are you ready to lead and develop our play therapy service, ensuring we provide the best possible service to those facing profound challenges?

About the role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Play Therapist to join our team, dedicated to supporting children and their families through some of the most challenging experiences of their lives, including but not limited to bereaved children and children with life-limiting conditions. In this role, you’ll lead the development and delivery of our play therapy services, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Your work will include offering Play Therapy, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy, and planning and facilitating our GEMS days, a bereavement support group designed specifically for children.
