About the role:
This exciting role has opened up due to our school's growing need for focused interventions, particularly in supporting students with English as an Additional Language (EAL). As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will be joining a dynamic team dedicated to making a difference in young learners' lives. You'll work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as a TA or in a similar educational support role.
• Strong understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and EAL strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach and ability to work collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and delivering targeted interventions for EAL students.
• Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning.
