Job Title: CNC Turner - FANUC and/ or MAZAK (Day and Night Shifts Available)
Location: Dorset
Our client has a long and established reputation for customer excellence and responsiveness in the supply of complex, quality-critical precision machined components and related assemblies. We are looking to recruit CNC Turners conversant with FANUC and/ or MAZAK for our busy, well-equipped, and modern CNC machine shop. Both day and night shifts are available.
Working Hours:
Day Shift:
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
Night Shift:
Monday to Thursday: 15:30 - 01:45Salary:
Day Shift: Up to £20/hr dependent on experience
Night Shift: Up to £20/hr dependent on experience, plus 33% shift allowanceHoliday:
25 days + bank holidaysRole Requirements:
Time served apprentice
Minimum 5 years aerospace experience
Competent at programming/editing NC programs
Ability to read and follow aerospace protocols and achieve/maintain high levels of quality
Ability to set and run CNC turning centres
Ability to work unsupervised
Self-motivated
Well organisedRole Responsibilities:
Work safely at all times
Ensure all parts produced meet drawing requirements
Complete check sheets as Quality record
Complete OEE sheets to aid continuous improvement
Prevention of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) contamination
Create/update set up sheets as required
Appropriate use of PPEEssential Skills:
Proven history of working within a busy sub-contract machine shop environment
Self-motivated
