Tig Welder
On behalf of our Thetford based client we are looking for a TIG WELDER to join their team.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 07:30-16:30 and the pay range is £12.50 to £16.50 per hour, dependent upon experience.

Our client manufactures bespoke products, of which the products are on show, so the weld finish needs to be concise and an excellent, almost unseen, finish. You will therefore have immense pride in the finish of your work.

It would be helpful if you also had some MIG welding experience, but full training can be given for this aspect.

Your duties will include:
- Perform TIG welding on various metal components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Set up welding equipment and ensure proper settings for each job
- Inspect welds for quality and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools to prepare materials for welding
- Assemble and fabricate metal components as required

You will ideally have the following experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG welding
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Strong knowledge of different types of welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles and techniques
