Atrium Healthcare is assisting a client in the Supported Living Sector, providing care for adults with learning disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated Service Support Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work within an established Management & Support team, ensuring compliance and safety in service delivery.
Role Overview:
As a Service Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting service seniors and developing their skills to run safe and effective services. Your person-centered approach will empower service users to lead independent lives, while ensuring their needs are met. This role involves remote working across various services in Essex, making a full driving license essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support service seniors in running safe and effective services.
Ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act, CQC requirements, and company policies.
Facilitate lifestyle choices, daily living tasks, and well-being of service users.
Write reports and chair meetings as necessary.
Collaborate with professionals from health, local authority, and CQC.
Conduct audits to assess processes and outcomes.
Maintain understanding of relevant legislations such as MCA, DOL's, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety Act.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Health and Social Care.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care.
Ability to manage workload flexibly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Full driving license and willingness to travel across Essex (mileage reimbursed).
