Health & Safety Officer - Summary of core responsibilities:nDrive the development and implementation of EHS training and development – focussing on continuously improving the knowledge and know-how of all co-workers: implementation of the “Take Action, Take Care” philosophy.nManage and continuously improve the effectiveness of all the EHS committee forums on site.nSupport the EHS Manager on reviewing all investments and machinery with the support of Project, Maintenance and Operations Managers.nEstablish and build strong relationships with production floor, Safety and Union Representatives across the business to ensure a proactive Safety Culture within the business.nMaintain and improve Amcor Standards to comply with Amcor Key Priorities.nCompleting monthly KPI, Environmental & CCA Reporting.nSupport the EHS Manager in the delivery of the Strategic Safety Plan.nSupport the EHS Manager in the implementation of the EHS systems and processes into the site Integrated Management System; management and control of system to ensure compliance and updated.
Skills & Experience required:nWe're seeking a candidate with similar experience as a H&S Advisor / officer within a manufacturing, Engineering or construction background. You will need to be NEBOSH Qualified and have a good knowledge of internal audits, risk assessments and safety process.
