We are searching for Support Workers who are calm, patient, and resilient. You will need to be able to drive and have a consistent approach to assisting the people we support to engage in the interests they love.
As a support worker, you will be part of an experienced staff team working within a busy and vibrant home where no two days are the same.
Support worker duties include:
Daily activities such as personal care, cooking meals, basic cleaning tasks, medication administration (after completing relevant training), food shopping and health appointments with the people we support
Providing support for offsite activities such as supporting meeting up with friends and family, meals out, swimming, golf and even going away on holiday with the people we support, helping them to live their best life
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people you will take care of.
Helping the people you will assist plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims.
Ensuring the people, you will assist and their families, are treated with respect, dignity, and equality.

We are looking for someone who can devote to 37.5 per week and are willing to work on a shift rota basis, covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
As a support worker you will work closely with the management team, support from a positive behaviour support consultant and colleagues to ensure that we are delivering the best person-centred care, ensuring outstanding delivery of support in line with our vision; inclusive communities where people with stroke, acquired brain injury and physical disabilities participate as equal citizens.
You will be driving the person we support their car, so full UK clean drivers license is preferable for this role.
Who will you be supporting?
The team supports up to five people, who have a variety of health conditions from acquired brain injury, stroke and other physical disabilities. You will be supporting people with all aspects of life from personal care, cooking, cleaning, and day to day supporting people to live the life they choose. There are some people who have behaviours of concern, but you will be surrounded by a supportive team and will have training to be confident in providing the right support.
