We require Gas Engineers to start immediately on a large social housing scheme in Kirkby in Ashfield on behalf of the council.This position is a temporary to permanent role.The ClientOur client is a large main contractor who operates nationwide and works alongside councils, housing associations and insurance companies.The RoleMain duties as a Gas Engineer can vary on a day to day basis which consist of -Installing warm air heating systems - DAH1Other duties may include servicing and breakdownsCustomer Service skills - resolving any issues that may arise and working with vulnerable tenantsThe working hours are 40 hours per week.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Gas EngineerGas Safe Registered - DesirableSocial Housing ExperienceCCNI - Core Domestic Gas SafetyDAH1 - Domestic Warm Air HeatersCENWAT - Domestic Central Heating & Hot WaterCKR1 - Domestic Gas Cooing AppliancesHTR1 - Domestic Fan Assisted Flued Gas Fires & Wall HeatersCMDDA1 (Carbon Monoxide Testing Training - ideal, but not essential)Own ToolsOwn VanCSCS/JIB cardAsbestos Awareness or be willing to take the online testMust be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece beforeBenefitsThe rate of pay is £22-£23 per hour40 hours per week - Monday to FridayPermanent position after 3 monthsLong term work with a reputable contractorStreet parkingHoliday Entitlement - once taken on permanentPension - once taken on permanentCompany van and fuel card - once taken on permanent To ApplyIf you are interested in our Gas Engineer role then please contact Danielle/Aran at Fawkes & Reece on (phone number removed) or apply online
