Our client is looking for a Strip and Fitter to join their highly skilled and welcoming team in Croydon.
Description:
Strip and Fitters are responsible for the efficient and professional removal of motor vehicle parts so that they may be repaired and painted. Strip and Fitters are also involved in the refitting of the parts following successful repair/paint completion. Our technicians are responsible for carrying out repairs to damaged vehicles, conducting diagnosis and following relevant instructions on the job cards issued or as instructed by the Bodyshop Manager.
What we are offering:
· Full time/Permanent.
· Monday – Friday.
· 7am – 4pm (Can be flexible if needed).
. OTE 60 - 70k
Qualifications/Requirements:
. Current or very recent Bodyshop experience as a Strip and Fitter of at least 2 years.
· Full UK driver’s license.
· Be able to work in a team and independently if needed.
· Achieve deadlines and targets that are set out.
· You’ll need your own tools.
· City & Guild Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair.
· ATA Qualification would be an advantage.
· Previous Bodyshop Strip and Fitter experience is essential.
· Rebuilding bodywork on damaged vehicles in a bonus bodyshop.
