About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team on a part-time basis, focusing on helping students catch up with the curriculum through one-on-one and small group support. This role is a new addition to our team, aimed at enhancing our support for students who need extra help.
The position offers a salary of £85-£100 per day, with responsibilities including working with individual students and small groups to provide targeted assistance in their academic progress.
Application Requirements:
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with Key Stage 1 students, preferably within a diverse and inclusive setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• A patient, supportive, and proactive approach to working with children who need extra help.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to Key Stage 1 students who need help catching up with the curriculum.
• Assist in the delivery of booster sessions and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to create and implement effective learning strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and reports as required.
