Summary:
GI Pro have permanent role for a TIG Welder Fabricator for our Nottingham based client
Working on a day shift Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 Friday 07:00 - 12:00
Offering pay rate between £14.50ph - £15.00ph
Overtimes paid at a premium (1.5x after 37.5hrs)
This is a permanent contract
The company - Make laboratory equipment, things for funeral directors, mortuary/ morgue/ forensic equipment
The role:
Welding and fabricating stainless steel bespoke units for morgue equipment - Post Partum tables, fridges where they keep dead bodies etc
Will all be mild steel fabrications and TIG welding
Welding and fabricating stainless and mild steel laboratory products
Welding small batch ancillary items
Cleaning and polishing fabrications
Working with press brake, laser, and mechanical assemblers
The candidate
TIG welding experience essential (preferably thin stainless steel)
Able to work from engineering drawings to make bespoke parts
Benefits
· 20 days + bank holidays
· For every full year you have been there you get a year so goes up to 25 days plus bank
· 3% pension
· SSP
· Death in service - 4 years of annual salary
· Training and progression
· Will provide uniform - trousers, polo sweat tops, boiler suit or trouser suit
