Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist engineering company who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

The company design, manufacture and install bespoke, turnkey medium to heavy engineering projects. They have an excellent and very diverse order book of projects working across a number of sectors including major projects and the nuclear sector.

This role will be a senior position within the design team, to lead on the design of projects.

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:

Producing designs of complex, large scale machinerynDelivering designs from concept to detailed drawings for manufacturenLiaising with the wider engineering team and productionnSupporting installation and commissioningnProducing 3D CAD drawings

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will need:

A mechanical design backgroundnExperience of designing large, rotating or moving equipmentnExperience of working in a manufacturing technical engineering environmentnExperience of communicating with customersnA sound knowledge of mechanical principles and calculationsn3D CAD experience
