We are helping a leading specialist contractor involved in Construction, Energy Solution, Building services, and Facilities Management across various sectors in their search for a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager in Central London. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be overseeing and managing mechanical engineering projects which includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within the budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Lead and manage the mechanical engineering projects, ensuring all project objectives are met.
*
Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
*
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
*
Ensure that all mechanical work meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
*
Implement and oversee safety protocols in mechanical project execution to ensure a safe working environment.
*
Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
*
Identify, analyse, and manage project risks, & develop strategies to eliminate risk.
*
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation ensuring that all documentation is accurate & complete.
*
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
*
Significant experience in mechanical engineering project management within construction.
*
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
*
Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
*
Proficiency in project management software & tools.
*
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
