In your first few weeks in this Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Engineer role, you can expect to:
Design, develop, and implement AMI systems and solutions
Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of smart meters and related devices
Manage and troubleshoot AMI network infrastructure, including PLC, wired and a variety of wireless communications technologies
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, network diagrams, and operational procedures
Perform data analysis to monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
To apply for this Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
Experience as an electrical utility industry professional
Experience producing specifications, analysing and implementing technical standards, and developing documentation
Master's degree preferred
