Amazon EU Lead

MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a leading consumer goods business, on the search for an Amazon EU Lead. This is a permanent role based in Central London.


The position offers the opportunity to shape the Amazon Pan-EU strategy for a portfolio of brands, driving double-digit growth and leveraging the success of a lead brand with a turnover exceeding £10m. The role reports directly to the Ecommerce Director.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Amazon EU strategy.
  • Create and execute a joint business plan that aligns with company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Amazon vendor managers and brand specialists to ensure long-term profitable growth.
  • Maximise brand growth by leveraging the Amazon Ads ecosystem, collaborating with brand teams, and managing agency relationships.
  • Plan and execute successful new product launches across EU markets.
  • Address commercial and logistical challenges with operational excellence.
  • Identify tailored portfolio opportunities, build compelling business cases, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver results.


What we’re looking for?


  • Proven experience working with Amazon and an in-depth understanding of its ecosystem, including opportunities and risks.
  • A results-driven approach, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong commercial and financial expertise, including experience with JBPs and P&Ls.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A creative problem-solver with the ability to identify growth opportunities and tackle challenges.
  • A team player who thrives in collaboration but can also work independently as a self-starter.
  • Passionate about the beauty and personal care industry.
  • Able to commute to a Central London office on a hybrid basis and travel for customer and agency meetings as required.
