About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and early years education to children aged 0-5 years. You will support the development and learning of children in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Childcare and Education:
Support the planning and delivery of a range of age-appropriate activities to stimulate and support children’s learning and development.
Assist in the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and share this information with parents and colleagues.

Health and Safety:
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, adhering to the nursery’s safeguarding and health and safety policies.
Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive environment for children to play and learn.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas to improve the nursery’s operations and educational programs.

Parental Engagement:
Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and daily activities.
Address any concerns or queries from parents in a professional and supportive manner.

Professional Development:
Attend relevant training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Stay updated with the latest developments in early years education and childcare practices.
Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:
Level 2 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
Understanding of the EYFS framework.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A caring, patient, and nurturing disposition.

Desirable:
First Aid certification.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
Ability to plan and implement educational activities.
