G.Digital has partnered with this organisation in the online gaming space who are revolutionising the game playing experience From being one of the only cloud native operators, to creating all of their products in house they're incredibly focused on the user experience end to end

They've worked on strategies to keep players safe, grown from 10 to over 400 employees and expanded into a handful of countries and now they're looking to building a data science capacity to deliver high-impact work around the UK and Europe

About the role ‍

The Head of Data has been building appetite and use cases for Data Science and ML over the last 9 months and now are in a position to deliver this work.

You'll be responsible for a number of different things including:

Delivering on the aims related to a wider Data StrategynIntegrating recommender data science models to increase NGRnNurturing the Science function and growing a team by the end of the yearnFocusing on improving Data retentionnGain a more in depth understanding of regulatory compliance & reportingnEnhance your skills and lead a function using your expertise in developing ML models

And outside of the day-to-day projects:

Staying on top of industry developments within the business and the Data Science communitynR&D/Product Development - developing new data science offerings and use casesnEstablishing and implementing best practicenMentoring and coaching other team members

What you need

Commercial experience applying ML modelsnPython, SQL or RnAny cloud data platforms would be great - AWS, Azure or GCPnAny big data technologies like Hadoop would be greatnStrong communication and stakeholder engagement
