Project Coordinator
Location: Remote with some UK travel
Salary: £35,000 per annum + benefits
Purpose of the role
As a Project coordinator for Empro, you will play a critical role in supporting the project team on various different projects for a portfolio of different clients. This role will support the effective planning, execution, and completion of projects by assisting project managers and team members in various administrative, organisational, and coordination tasks. In essence, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently by facilitating communication, managing resources, monitoring progress, and addressing issues as they arise. Acting as a central point of contact for project-related activities and help to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Support and Planning
* Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones.
* Help define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
* Ensure all necessary resources are allocated appropriately.
Facilitating Communication
* Coordinate communication among project team members,stakeholders and external partners.
* Schedule and organise meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
* Serve as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Managing Project Documentation
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
* Organise and store project files for easy reference.
Monitoring Project Progress
* Track project progress and identify/address any issues or delays.
* Keep stakeholders informed with regular project updates.
Assisting With Resource Management
* Coordinate resource allocation to support project activities.
* Monitor resource utilisation to ensure efficiency.
* Supporting Risk Management
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
* Help develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Project Administrative Support
* Arrange travel, schedule meetings, prepare presentations, and manage project-related correspondence.
* Ensure smooth project operations.
* Promoting Collaboration and Teamwork
* Foster a collaborative team environment.
* Encourage knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
* Previous project experience within the FM sector or similar industry (Desirable).
* Effective communicator with outstanding written skills and a solution-oriented approach.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly.
* Experience working with senior managers and providing effective support.
* Strong analytical skills and excellent technical skills in MS Office 365, MS Project, Visio, Excel, SharePoint, etc.
* Proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented
