We are working with a reputable client in the medical industry who is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to manage selective key medical customers. Position Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing key medical customers, ensuring that their project requirements are met with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This is a customer-facing role that requires on-site presence and potential visits to customer sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage selective key medical customers, ensuring their project needs are met.
* Work on site and visit customer sites as required to maintain strong relationships and oversee project progress.
* Oversee the injection moulding process and work with plastic components, leveraging your knowledge to ensure optimal project outcomes.
* Utilize Microsoft Project and Gantt charts to demonstrate project timings and milestones.
* Apply Six Sigma methodologies to improve project processes and outcomes.
* Understand and manage the validation process, including FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure project alignment and success.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in the medical industry.
* Strong knowledge of injection moulding and plastic components.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Project and Gantt charts.
* Understanding of Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
* Knowledge of the validation process from FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
* Prince2 qualification or practices advantageous, but not essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
