D33P Search are working with a specialist automotive business based in the Midlands, they design performance parts for vehicles within Motorsports, including Formula 1. They are currently looking for a Graduate/Junior Design Engineers and Mid Level Design engineers to support them, you'll be working on the design of parts used at the top levels of motorsport, including Formula 1, Le mans, WRC and more.

Product development

Design and develop new products to expand the companies range of productsnRemoval/Refit of stock induction systems for measurement and scanningnOccasional work on vehicles, removing stock induction systems for testing and developmentnCreate 3D CAD models / 2D drawingsnPrototype creationnLiaising with suppliers to obtain quotations and ensure the smooth delivery of production partsnOccasionally attending shows and events to represent the company.nOperation of design equipment (Laser scanner,3D printers).

Skills and Experiencen1 year experience working within the design/automotive industry. (OR Apprenticeship/placement year)nExperience using 3D CAD design software. (Commercial OR Education)nPractical experience and interest in vehicle maintenance/preparation and a working knowledge of modern and pre 90s road and competition vehiclesnSome experience in product development, from customer design requests to productionnExcellent technical aptitudenPrevious experience of engineering projects/activitiesnProblem-solving on existing products and product improvementnYou will have a good ability to use your own initiative, manage your own workload and projectsnHave a working knowledge of proprietary PC software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

This position will be working full time from their facility in Coventry, this position will cover all aspects of the project design cycle, from taking requirements through to delivery.

Salary - £25-40K (Dependant on experience)

This position doesn't currently offer any VISA sponsorship.
