Yard Operative

Hours: 7am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Pay Per Hour: £12
Job Role: As a Yard Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics yard. Your responsibilities will include:
* Implementing correct procedures for picking, loading, and delivering orders promptly and accurately.
* Safely loading and off-loading wagons in a timely manner, adhering to company safety protocols.
* Properly stacking stock products in the yard according to company procedures to ensure safety and accessibility.
* Checking and accounting for goods, ensuring correct loading, and maintaining packaging integrity.
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the yard area.
* Implementing effective waste management practices, including control and segregation, in line with company guidelines.
* Contributing to achieving set picking targets to ensure orders are ready for dispatch on time.
