Fullstack Engineer (Mid & Senior Levels) – x2 Positions

Location : Manchester – 2-3 days per week in the office

Salary : £50k - £65k per annum

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading insurtech company based in Manchester, a recognised innovator in the insurance sector known for leveraging cutting-edge technology to transform customer experiences. They’re looking to bring on board two skilled Fullstack Engineers at either mid or senior levels, ready to drive impactful projects as part of their expanding team.


The Role

In this role, you’ll join a dynamic engineering team to support the development of high-performance platforms that enhance the efficiency and security of digital insurance solutions. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to deliver reliable, scalable products. While prior insurtech or startup experience is welcome, it’s not essential—what’s important is a solid background in fullstack development.


Main Responsibilities :

  • Develop backend systems using C#, .NET, and Node
  • Work on critical projects that involve Golang as an additional backend tool
  • Bring frontend features to life with React , contributing to a seamless user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions


Tech Stack:

  • Backend : C#, .NET, Node
  • Frontend : React
  • Additional Tools : Golang for select project work


This role offers an opportunity to gain experience across a broad tech stack, with a strong emphasis on backend development. Even if you’re more familiar with other tools, the company is open to great engineers who bring curiosity and a commitment to learning.


About You

  • Solid experience in fullstack development, with proficiency in backend programming (C#, .NET, Node)
  • Some exposure to frontend technologies like React
  • Golang experience is essential but not required for all projects
  • Collaborative approach, comfortable working in-office 2-3 days per week alongside a diverse team
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment
