We represent a school who have identified a key need for a Teacher of Special Needs who can contribute to the teaching and learning of the young people in their community.
Responsibilities
* The expectations for this role is a Teacher of Special Needs who is confident in the key competencies of their subject area, and has a broad knowledge base and understanding of the curriculum requirements to guide student learning.
* The Teacher of Special Needs hired for this role must maintain high quality of teaching to ensure pupils are given the best chance to achieve targets.
* The ideal Teacher of Special Needs for this role will demonstrate a willingness to explore new ideas that contribute to the development of a learning culture in the school.
Qualifications/Experience
* You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
* Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
* To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
