 3.5 million litres of water flow through our pools daily, and we need a proactive, friendly, and dependable Pool Plant Supervisor to ensure every drop meets the highest standards. If you’re a hands-on, safety-conscious leader this could be the perfect role for you.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Mentoring and developing your team to operate safely, efficiently, and professionally. Leading by example to create a positive, productive work environment.
  • Overseeing both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring smooth operations and swift resolution of issues.
  • Ensuring water quality across all our centres consistently meets required standards, maintaining impeccable safety and hygiene.
  • Keeping all water technical manuals up to date and ensuring your team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to maintain pool operations safely.
  • Conducting thorough fault diagnosis, surveys, and repairs of pool plant equipment in line with relevant regulations.
  • Upholding health and safety standards, managing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with security regulations across all activities.

 

Our ideal candidate will have:  

  • Experience working in maintenance, water treatment or swimming pools.
  • Pool plant qualification or willingness to obtain this within 3 months of appointment.
  • A full clean UK driving licence (company van provided). 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisive, fair, and consistent decisions.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks to develop creative solutions for complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information and ideas, engaging and connecting with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a successful track record and a genuine desire to engage, motivate, and develop a team. 

 

You will be based out of Carron Pl, Leith however, travel between the other venues will be required using our pool of vans, so a driving licence is essential.
