Yup, another advert for a trainee recruitment consultant. So many adverts; all promising the career of my dreams. How on earth do I choose between them? Where will I find the right culture and environment to suit me? Where will I learn?
We think the difference between a ‘recruiter’ and a ‘great recruiter’ is the depth of learning combined with a commitment to daily action. It is vital to understand not just recruitment, but your specialism. Who wants to be represented by a consultant who isn’t an expert?

We know the most important part of your recruitment career is the first 3 months. Therefore we provide a formal 12-week training programme, both in the classroom and working alongside expert mentors who have all been through what you are learning. This level of support continues throughout your journey with CoTalent. Your career is as important to us as it is to you, so a long term investment in you is essential.
What about the environment?
We are a team who are growing our business together. We share in each other’s successes and support each other in challenging times. We have spacious modern offices within a barn conversion in the middle of the Kent countryside. A beautiful rural space combined with investment in the latest technology to support us working with clients across the globe. Despite the world of digital communication we always encourage our team to meet clients face to face, meaning the chance regular trips to Switzerland and the USA once established.
That’s all great, but what about the money, I hear you say?
And you are right to ask. Recruitment requires a great deal of hard work and consistency to be successful. You would of course like a handsome reward for this. And you will get one. In fact, you will get many rewards of increasing value as your cumulative results grow. Our commission scheme is accepted as industry leading, with generous financial return to recognise your success.

It is quite simple really. We look for the right attitude combined with an intellect that confirms the ability to learn well. We are speaking to clients and candidates across the globe, so experience of proactive outbound calls would also sit well in the experience box.
