An exciting opening has come up within one of the best FMCG Manufacturing sites in the UK. This site specifically is one of the best performing out of their roster and pride themselves in this.
This role will be a hands on role, you will provide support and guidance to a team of engineers which range from apprentices to multiskilled, and continue to be supported by the Engineering Manager.
This role would be preferable for someone who is looking to put their hat into the ring of leading a team and this could be a great stepping stone to enhance your career into management. With the role focusing on leadership qualities, attitude and getting a team work efficiently, you could really make a name for yourself. With a competitive salary and excellent benefits there will also be opportunities for overtime, due to the continous projects and expansion of the site and surrounding sites.
You should offer proven leadership skills, have a multiksilled background and possess an electrical bias. You will supervise and direct day to day engineering duties, establishing prokect priorities, be a helping hand where needed and coach engineers during breakdowns and critical repairs. Maintain equipment daily, ensuring plant equipment is operating and functioning correctly. Completing daily maintenance, checking sheets and jobs cards. Welding, PLC and inverter experience would be advantageous. The successful candidate doesnt have to have a food background, it would be advantage, but the company are looking for you to be leave your stamp on the business.
