The school
This is a small voluntary controlled Church of England Infant School situated on the outskirts of Baldock in Hertfordshire. The school caters for girls and boys aged 4-7 years and shares the site with a Junior School. The school benefits from two playgrounds, and fields with wonderful views.
The children at this school have a happy experience and enjoy a secure and stimulating learning environment. The experiences SLT at this school want the children to enjoy coming to school and be excited about their learning and the many activities they plan into the curriculum. The school has a variety of clubs on offer during lunchtimes and after school for year 1 and year 2 children. These include art, gardening, football, science, ocarina, a language (Greek, Spanish, French on offer) Maths - the list goes on and changes quite regularly. The school has a dedicated and hardworking staff of teachers, teaching assistants and support staff who work as a team and value each other. The ethos of the school is very special - all staff and children feel valued and involved in the life of the school.
The Role
We seek to appoint a committed a Early Years class teacher, full or part time, on a fixed term contract from September 2024 to cover maternity leave.
If you are a committed Early Years teacher who learns as well as teaches and wants to develop their leadership skills, then we are the school for you.
We will not be considering applications from NQTs at this time.
