Are you a skilled and committed Teaching Assistant who is passionate about enriching children's lives and helping them achieve the best possible start? Our partner Primary school situated in the Acocks Green area is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full-time basis from September for the full academic year, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position. This rewarding position offers the chance to positively impact the lives of children as they embark on their educational journey.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and modifying teaching resources and materials to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Support the class teacher in delivering lessons.
Provide one-on-one support to underperforming students and conduct small group sessions, both inside and outside the classroom.
Handle challenging behaviour with confidence.The ideal candidate will:
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree.
Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Have experience leading 1:1 or group interventions (desirable).
