Financial Analyst

Pertemps are currently working with a large global organisation who have a requirement for a Finance Analyst to join their successful team based in Ayrshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys an analytical role with interaction with internal stakeholders and focusses on reporting requirements for working capital, supply chain costs and forecasts. Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role and have great system skills.

This client offers a salary circa £41k and an excellent benefits package.

JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinate and review working capital reporting packs required for onward internal and group reporting purposes.nSupport and maintain the financial modelling framework to support the quarterly business forecasting process.nTo assist in challenging and analysing inputs from the functions based on quarterly inputs for supply chain, material and general supplies.nHold monthly reviews with the relevant supply chain management personnel to assess performance against annual operating plan and forecasts.Hold people accountable for actions.nCheck and review of all cost variations reports coming through to ensure these are incorporated to bills of material.nReview and address Purchase Price VariancesnBe the finance focal for Supplier Claims, liaising on status and progress of claims on suppliers.nTo prepare complex and detailed financial performance reports for both Europe US Corporate audiences.nTo be capable of handling large volumes of data and consolidating and reporting this data effectively through the utilisation of strong IT skills.nTo Liaise with all external parties (Auditors, Customers, Suppliers) as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Degree qualified with relevant experience.nAccounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or studying towardsnGood communication skillsnExcellent IT Skills – particularly Excel & TM1nUsing knowledge and experience to promote process improvement.nEffective relationship management skills
