Heels & Brogues Recruitment are working with a top client seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to be the heart of our meticulous work in fabricating, assembling, testing, and commissioning hydraulic systems. Not just in our workshop, but also on our customer's sites, following our standards or custom specs. As a Hydraulic Engineer, you'll find a world of opportunity awaiting you.
Your Role in a Nutshell:
* Mechanical assembly of systems against drawings.
* Setting of pressure control components.
* Setting of flow control components.
* Setting of variable displacement pumps, pressure, displacement, and torque.
* Testing and commissioning of systems.
* Bending of rigid tube from small bore to 2” nominal bore.
* Manufacture of hose assemblies.
* Flushing of hose assemblies, pipework, and complete systems.
* Pressure testing of hose assemblies and pipework.
* Mild steel and stainless-steel fabrication using MIG/MAG and TIG.
* Tacking and welding of mild steel and stainless-steel pipework up to 3” nominal bore.
* Replacement of components on hydraulic systems.

* Hold a full driving license.
