A fantastic school in the West Berkshire district has an opportunity for an aspiring therapist to gain valuable work experience in promoting young people's mental well-being. The students at this school face varying challenges and require additional support approaching their social, emotional and mental health needs. Any aspiring therapist would find this role highly fulfilling and rewarding in the progression of your career. The specialist school strives to provide these students a high quality of education in line with consistent encouragement and support when approaching each student's individual obstacles.
The role will include working alongside the classroom teacher and other support staff to help students maintain their focus and coach addressing possible triggers for the pupils in regard to their trauma and psychological needs, a great opportunity to see how the industry can help the younger generation. The candidate will develop an understanding of how to provide the highest quality care for the students and receive excellent mentoring from reputable professionals working on-site including occupational and behavioural therapists and psychologists. This education and training will be highly valuable for any aspiring therapist to gain an edge in your industry.

Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 3:30
ASAP Start
£80-£95 per dayA degree in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology or Sociology is desired but not required. Any experience working with SEN children and/or adults would be beneficial.
