We are looking for a Head of Marketing to develop and execute a Marketing and Brand strategy to support our ambitious growth and establish us as a stand-out employer and market leader. You'll create targeted campaigns to generate demand among existing and potential clients where success lies in effective partnering with Business Development leads to ensure intelligent, informed targeting within the businesses and organisations that we are best suited to work with to ensure that we are at the forefront of people's minds when opportunities arise. This role will best suit a Marketing professional who is happy to be 'hands on'. The ideal candidate will come from a fast-growing organisation where no two days are the same You will have considerable B2B marketing experience, preferably in professional services and ideally in a similar consultancy business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an effective marketing plan to increase brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Leads to enhance account-based marketing capabilities.
  • Maintain regular marketing contact with existing and potential clients.
  • Identify and target active workstreams within our core industry sectors (Utilities and Infrastructure).
  • Manage a team, providing guidance and supporting development opportunities.
  • Oversee the marketing budget to achieve departmental goals.
  • Monitor and improve marketing performance using data and analytics.
  • Execute campaign plans across multiple channels using the right technology.
  • Focus on demand generation within strategic accounts through ABM initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and manage marketing collateral development.
  • Optimise digital marketing channels including email, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.
  • Participate in management meetings and share best practices.
  • Support senior management in building their profiles as industry thought leaders.
  • Report on performance and align marketing objectives with sales KPIs.
  • Stay informed about market trends and share insights internally.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in strategic B2B marketing, preferably in professional services and ideally in a similar consultancy business (or similar industry space) is necessary.
  • Proven track record in impacting pipeline growth.
  • Experience and understanding of ABM process.
  • Excellent communication skills including developing and adapting written sales and marketing copy.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise activities and campaigns.
  • Database management with CRM experience.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of both inbound and outbound strategies and the digital platforms that can deliver them.
  • Experience in managing and optimising digital marketing channels, such as email marketing, SEO/SEM, digital advertising, and content marketing.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build effective relationships quickly.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and creative, with an eye for design.
  • Ability to take the initiative with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for success.
