We are currently looking for an

EMC Applications Engineer

working directly with an automotive OEM ensuring robust EMC delivery of their vehicle programmes.

We would like a project engineer/manager who is customer driven person with strong interpersonal skills and clear and precise command of the English language for written and verbal communications. You must have great organisational skills, be smart, reliable, and flexible. Can work under your own initiative as well as part of a team and to tight deadlines. Location:

Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days travel to Essex)

Working Hours:

37.5 hour working week.

DutiesnAs part of the programme delivery team, you will:nReview and writing of EMC documentation (test plans, test reports, etc.).nCollaborate with internal EMC Team customers (EE Design, Power Design, Homologation) and manage all project touch points.nReport on status and schedule to Project and Program stakeholders.nManage vehicle EMC chamber bookings.nEnsure vehicle programmes are managed and robustly signed off against OEM and international standards for EMC

Qualifications/skills

Strong project management skills.nProfessional attitude with a strong customer focus.n2+ years of experience on complex-vehicles system projects.nPrevious experience as an engineer in an automotive environment, working closely with other engineering disciplines and teams.nMetrics tracking and reporting for a hardware project.nAbility to identify blockers/bottlenecks and develop remediation/recovery plans.nAbility to triage new work and adjust to rapidly shifting program priorities.nUNECE Reg 10 or similar requirement understanding.
