About the role

You will be responsible for:

Proactively implementing and developing the commercial strategy – exploring, growing and creating new revenue streams and commercial opportunitiesnLeading the Partnerships Hub sales team – managing and guiding team members, driving team activity and ensuring the team sales target is metnHitting an individual sales target – winning new business, crafting compelling advertising campaign proposals and delivering presentationsnDeveloping and growing strong relationships with partnersnRepresenting SoGlos and the Partnerships Hub externally and across the business – reporting directly to the managing director

About you

We are looking for someone who is / has:

An ambitious sales person, with experience working with metrics and hitting targetsnStrategic and commercially astute, with sound business acumennExperienced in inspiring and leading a sales teamnAble to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skillsnConfident and high energy, with a positive attitudenAble to remain calm under pressure, taking the initiative to find solutions to challengesnGreat organisational skills, able to manage both individual and team sales activitynGood working knowledge of Gloucestershire across a range of sectors.nStrong local business contacts would be a great advantagenIdeally, experience in a similar sales role in the media, marketing, recruitment, technology, estate agency or professional services sectornKnowledge of advertising, sponsorship and event sales would also be an advantagenProficient in embracing modern technologies – including CRMs, websites, social media platforms, Office 365 and SoGlos’s in-house proposal system

Salary and benefits

Starting salary of £35,000 to £38,000 plus commission.nOTE of £60,000 per annum, uncapped.nFlexible working hours and hybrid office / home working optionsnIn-house training, personal performance reviews and career progression opportunities25 days paid holiday plus bank holidaysnAn additional day’s holiday for every year with the companynRegular #SoGlosSocial team get-togethers
