We’re working with a well-known service specialist and equipment supplier to the print industry who are currently looking to expand their field service team. Within the role you’ll primarily work on some of the most popular digital, UV inkjet and solvent based print equipment on the market.
If you’re not an engineer at present but an experienced printer operator, then the business would also consider upskilling competent printers who would be looking to take the steps needed to become an engineer. If you’re a technically adept user of Mimaki, Roland or Mutoh print kit and are looking for a career in this industry, this could be a great option as full and in-depth training is provided.
The Role
Diagnose, repair, maintain and service a variety of print and finishing equipment.
Provide exceptional on-site technical support to clients and end users.
Act as a client point of contact for queries regarding the equipment, advice, training, guidance and more.
Perform routine checks to ensure equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.
The Person
An experienced electromechanical engineer (ideally with an industry relevant qualification within electrics / mechanics), OR an experienced and competent printer operator who is looking to take their career to a new level.
Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Willingness to travel to client sites both regionally and across the UK.
IT literate.
