Technical Product Ownern3-4 days per week onsite - Central London

Our client is a well funded FinTech start-up who is looking to grow heavily over the next 12-18 months. They have an established and successful B2C Product with over 500,000 users and are excited to now be delving into the B2B market. Their product offering aims to help consumers track budgeting and spending through the use of cutting edge technology.

Responsibilities:nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritise business requirements and translate them into technical tasks and subtasks.nCreate detailed technical documentation, including epics, user stories, and subtasks in Jira.nWork closely with the development team to ensure they have a clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.nMaintain and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring it is groomed and updated regularly.nProvide technical guidance and clarification to the development team, ensuring alignment with business goals.nDrive the Agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.nMonitor project progress and proactively remove obstacles to ensure timely delivery.nConduct regular reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.nCommunicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.nStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications:nProven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in a fast paced, highly technical software development environment.nStrong technical background with proficiency in software development concepts and practices, ideally experience as a former developer or similar.nExperience with writing detailed technical tasks and subtasks in Jira.nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.nSolid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile tools such as Jira or Trello.nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.nExperience in the financial services industry, especially with SaaS based B2C and B2B products, is highly desirable.nCertification in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent is a plus.
