We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding organisation seeking a Import LCL Clerk to join their team in Essex.


Responsibilities;

  • Responsible for handling LCL Import shipments for airfreight and seafreight
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Raising invoices and internal files
  • Passing supplier invoices
  • Speaking with Shipping lines, hauliers and depots
  • Arranging of collections and deliveries
  • Ensure all customer deadlines are met
  • Ensure customers are satisfied with shipment deliveries
  • Following up after deliveries


Skills Required;

  • 2-3 years experience working for a freight forwarder
  • Experience handling LCL import shipments
  • CNS, Destin8 or Multi-freight experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Airfreight and Seafreight experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
