Role Overview: Location: Studley hybrid working Package: Up to £46,500 + £9,300 shift allowance Industry: Cloud, Managed Services, Cyber Security What You’ll Be Doing: Delivering hands-on BAU support across multi-vendor firewall and network environments. Managing incidents, requests, patching cycles and event monitoring as part of a 24/7 shift team. Acting as the senior escalation point on shift, ensuring SLAs are met and issues are resolved promptly. Leading change activity, including planning, documentation and CAB/TAB engagement. Mentoring colleagues and helping maintain high standards across the Managed Services function. Taking ownership of major operational improvements and driving better tooling and compliance. Main Skills Needed: Experience with at least two major firewall vendors in order of preference (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco). Strong networking knowledge including core routing protocols (OSPF, BGP). Solid background in operational support: BAU, configuration, troubleshooting.
