The senior planner will come from a civil engineering background and will be well versed in complex civil engineering schemes. Holding working knowledge of NEC contracts, you will be comfortable with the use of P6 and ASTA.
As a Senior Planner, you will have the following accountabilities:
• Build construction/ contract Programmes under Planning Manager supervision
• Maintain National Highways baseline programme
• Maintain cost allocation allowances to the programme
• Programme improvements and alterations to ensure National Highways compliance
• Produce time chainage programmes when required
• Quantify and measure change to provide quantities for programme works
Other accountabilities will include:-
• Competent using Primavera P6
• Experience of highways or major civil engineering schemes
• Direct line management experience
• Sub-contract management experience
• Contract awareness
