Pushing the architectural boundaries, we are challenging the 'one size fits all' perception of modular construction and instead creating amazing buildings with high architectural integrity in partnership with architectural practices.Your role as a Site ManagerWe are looking for an experienced site manager to join us on this new project, the site has limited space and access, so would suit a site manager who has experience working on tight sites in London.As a site manager you must take responsibility for the day-to-day running on site of a Reds10(UK)Ltd construction project to keep within the timescale and budget of a project, and resolve any delays or problems encountered on-site during the project.Your responsibilities as a Site Manager at Reds10
- Demonstrate great Health & Safety stewardship, leading Reds10 Health and Safety agenda on site
- Oversee onsite construction, establishing and managing the construction programme and ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations
- Responsibility for management, coordination and supervision of sub-contractors
- Set up H&S procedures and manage site HSE processes and performance
- Develop and manage testing, commissioning and inspection programme
- Manage soft landings plan
- Set up sample and control panels and quality control procedures and ensure they are followed at all times
- Source materials as required
- Monitor and report regularly to the Operations Manager on the progress of a project including regular programme updates
- Demonstrate great Health & Safety stewardship, leading Reds10 Health and Safety agenda on site
- Use BIM models for information, discussing the model with the team to inform consequent execution of work.
- Performance of the project in terms of time, cost, quality, safety standards and client satisfaction
- Delivery of the agreed profitability for the project.
- Programmes are properly resourced to meet the production targets
- Comply with all Reds10 ISO requirements such as following company policies and procedures, attending compulsory training sessions and actively working towards objectives.
- SMSTS qualification essential
- CSCS Black/White card essential
- Proven ability to review and improve processes and procedures, looking for innovative and creative solutions
- Excellent people management skills with track record of improving and developing team
- Ideally hold an HND/NVQ in Construction Management or similar industry-related subject
- MCIOB preferred
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and build trust with all levels of team internally and external
- A straightforward approach, able to express information clearly and concisely
- Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping other people
- Great attention to detail, numerically literate and able to multi-task
