Supervisor (Highways)

Supervisor Opportunity (Tier 1 Contractor, Highways, London)
Our client, a leading firm in the engineering sector, is currently seeking skilled Supervisors to join their team in London. These temporary positions, focused on Highways Engineering, offer a 6+ month contract with opportunities to work within a dynamic and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising civil engineering and highways projects
Ensuring the on-site implementation of engineering solutions
Monitoring labour and material usage to ensure efficiency
Providing daily reports on project progress and any issues encountered
Ensuring that all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
Liaising with project managers, clients, and contractor teams
Implementing and enforcing quality control and assurance measures
Addressing any on-site complications to minimise delays
Job Requirements:
Experience in highways engineering
Proven track record in civils/highways supervisory roles (London-based work)
Previous experience from a tools background (highly desirable)
Understanding of NEC3/NEC4 Contracts (highly desirable)
Strong understanding of industry safety standards and regulations
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Ability to produce detailed and accurate reports
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to on-site operations
Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent experience
