A leading insurance innovator in London is seeking a Catastrophe Risk Analyst to join their growing team. They are redefining insurance through data-driven risk management and cutting-edge solutions. In this crucial role, you'll play an important part in safeguarding their business and our clients from natural and man-made disasters.

You'll leverage your expertise to contribute across several key areas:

  • Advanced Catastrophe Modelling: Utilise industry-leading catastrophe models to analyse their portfolio, assess potential risks, and identify areas for mitigation.
  • Data Integrity & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data used in catastrophe modelling and reporting. Prepare regulatory returns and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Risk Communication & Collaboration: Clearly communicate complex risk information to stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. Build strong relationships with underwriting teams to improve data quality and risk understanding.
  • Innovation & Project Management: Contribute to ongoing projects focused on emerging risks like climate change.

To excel in this role, you'll bring:

  • Experience in Catastrophe Modelling/ Risk Data and an Exposure Management role within the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven decision making.
  • Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
