The Directorate is also responsible for regeneration (where the programme is not housing led), enterprise, growth, capital projects and design work.

Join us as a Programme Officer within the High Streets Data Service (HSDS) team, an integral part of the Planning and Regeneration Unit in the Good Growth Directorate at the Greater London Authority (GLA).
As a key member of the HSDS team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our data service, which facilitates collaboration between the GLA, London boroughs, and Business Improvement Districts to provide insights on London's high streets and town centres. The Programme Officer will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day delivery of the High Streets Data Service, liaising with key stakeholders across the GLA and its external partners. Working as an integral part of the High Streets Data Team, they will build an in depth understanding of the High Streets Data Service, including its underlying data, vision, functions, interfaces and features and how it is used to deliver the Mayor’s priorities across London
What your day will look like
Collaborate with the High Streets Data Service Team and stakeholders to manage and enhance the HSDS.
Efficiently manage the HSDS inbox, ensuring prompt and effective responses to user queries.
Oversee the onboarding and registration process for new users, ensuring compliance with GLA policies.
Gather and analyse user requirements, identifying opportunities for data-driven solutions to support GLA priorities.
Test new features and functionalities, providing feedback and insights to enhance user experience.
Investigate and address issues and defects within the HSDS, ensuring timely resolution.
Maintain a log of user feedback and enhancements, facilitating ongoing improvements to the service.
Support the Programme Manager in requirements gathering and workshop facilitation.
Develop and update system guidance and training materials for internal and external users.
Coordinate communications and training events, representing the GLA professionally and accurately.
Assist with administrative tasks, including minute-taking and record-keeping.
Skills, knowledge and experience
To be considered for the role you must meet the following essential criteria:
Proficiency in project management, including using tools such as JIRA or Trello
Experience in understanding user needs and delivering solutions in a data or analytical environment.
Demonstrated ability to organize and run successful events with diverse stakeholders
Strong relationship management skills in a fast-paced environment
