Role Overview:

The Lead AI Researcher will oversee the research and development of AI attack vectors and corresponding mitigation strategies for VE3. This role involves leading a team of data scientists and engineers, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of AI attack vectors, including prompt injection, data poisoning, and adversarial fine-tuning.nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.nConduct literature reviews and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI safety.nDevelop and implement mitigation strategies to defend against identified attacks.nOversee the testing and validation of AI models and safeguards.nPrepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings.nMentor and guide junior researchers and data scientists.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.nAt least 10 years of experience in AI research and development.nProven track record of published research in AI safety.nStrong understanding of machine learning algorithms and data science.nExperience with AI security testing and red-teaming.nExcellent communication and leadership skills.

Skills and Competencies:nDeep knowledge of AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.nProficiency in programming languages such as Python and R.nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.nAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.nExcellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Additional RequirementsnCommitment to staying current with the latest research and developments in AI safety.nAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.nWillingness to participate in conferences, workshops, and continuous learning opportunities.
