Tax & Treasury Recruitment have been exclusively mandated by a FTSE250 client to source and select Tax Manager. This is a newly created role with a high degree of remote-working, so you can be based almost anywhere in the UK as long as you have easy access to London for monthly team meetings.
Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, you'll liaise with external advisors on capital allowances and R&D tax relief claims, assist with HMRC enquiries, and approve VAT returns. Your strategic mindset will be crucial in managing the group effective tax rate, proposing and implementing tax planning opportunities, and leading tax-related projects to drive efficiency and minimize risk.
You must have experience in the following:
· Managing the preparation and filing of all tax returns
· Ensure compliance with local and international tax requirements.
· Preparing tax figures and disclosures for inclusion in our Group consolidated and statutory accounts, while managing Group quarterly corporation tax payments on account.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Accountant (for example ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and/or Qualified Tax Advisor (for example ATII or CTA), combined with significant UK Corporate Tax experience gained from within a large corporate environment. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of circa £70,000 to £79,000, plus bonus, matched pension scheme, 25 days’ holiday, and private healthcare.
