Intro
Cedar is currently partnered with a Large PE-Backed Logistics business to secure an Interim FP&A Lead based in Central London. The role is a 3-6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between £425 - £475 per day.
The Company
This well-established logistics business is going through a period of change & transformation, and this will play a key part in improving data, reporting around cash-flow & liquidity.
The Role
As the Interim FP&A Lead, you will:
Compile monthly liquidity management reports, facilitating effective management of banking facilities and dividend disbursements.
Generate quarterly cash flow forecasts for presentation during Executive reviews, providing crucial insights for strategic decision-making.
Develop and execute a 13-week rolling liquidity forecast for all legal entities within the division, encompassing the creation and assessment of a comprehensive cash forecasting model.
Revamp and implement forecast models utilized for impairment and going concern assessments, ensuring compliance with audit standards and enhancing accuracy.
Provide ongoing support to the business by addressing additional cash flow and liquidity reporting requirements requested by the new shareholder.
Your Profile
You will have:
Qualified with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, with expertise in financial and performance management reporting; experience in a large organization is highly beneficial.
Previous experience in the logistics sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and challenge internal stakeholders effectively.
Proficient in identifying business performance drivers and translating them into opportunities.
Familiarity with planning techniques across short, medium, and long-term forecast horizons.
Experience with Adaptive Insights software is a plus.
Considered the rate of £425 - £475 per day to represent a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.

The business is progressive in their approach to flexible working, so would most often only require a physical presence in the office two to three times per week
