Looking for a role with more responsibility within a medium to large manufacturing site?


The Sustainability Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the organisation to successfully execute its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy, ensuring alignment with the business's wider strategies and goals.
  • Including owning and managing the implementation of targeted ESG initiatives set out in the annual ESG Action Plan.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the ESG Action Plan.
  • Supporting the development of the decarbonisation plans, including reduction target setting.
  • Work closely with Sub-contractors and build relationship to influence their ESG strategies will be paramount.
  • Developing and executing corporate ESG/sustainability initiatives and strategies.
  • Reviewing and analysing corporate activities and providing recommendations related to enhancing the ESG/sustainability Strategy, methods, framework, and related tools.
  • Creating policies and guidelines related to sustainability programmes affecting ESG in the organisation.


We are looking for someone with relevant experience within a manufacturing organisation with an engineering background. Ideally working as a Sustainability Engineer / Consultant / Manager currently or a Project Engineering Manager within an ESG area.
