My client is an award winning alternative finance lender who are now looking for a Portfolio Executive to join their growing team in Birmingham City Centre.

The Portfolio Executive is responsible for providing client support across all aspects of the client relationship, delivering excellent customer service and dealing with a wide range of queries.

Portfolio Executives will be client focused, supporting, and assisting a range of UK based SME businesses, typically asset secured, with short to medium term facilities ranging from £50k to £5m.

The Work – responsibilities include:

Support Relationship Manager’s client portfolio in all aspects of the client journey and experience.nManage client files on the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, including collating necessary documents during the onboarding process and throughout the client’s lifecycle.nPrepare and complete client files to support client reviews for increasing, extending, or exiting of facilities.nAssist in the delivery of new clients by liaising with multiple stakeholders, whether internal or external.nMonitor and report on client risk management, escalating concerns as necessary.nWork collaboratively to improve & maintain operational efficiency.nUnderstand and demonstrate the regulatory framework relevant to the role.nSupport the wider Operations Team, as required.

The Person – skills and experience:

Customer service skills.nAdministration experience.nEnjoy working in a fast-paced environment.nStrong communication skills.nExcellent attention to detail, with the ability to deliver work to a high standard.nMotivated and solutions driven to help improve working practices and facilitate problem solving.nEffectively manage and prioritise responsibilities, adhering to agreed service levels.

Desirable:

Financial experience is desirable, not essential, as full training is provided.
