A major picking depot in Worksop, employing more than 200 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.

Exciting Opportunity for Multi-Drop Delivery Van Drivers

Join Our Team at Worksop's Greencore DTS Depot

Are you an enthusiastic and hard-working individual? We have a fantastic opportunity for Multi-Drop Delivery Van Drivers to become part of our expanding team at the Worksop, Manton Wood Distribution Centre. This role involves delivering food products to our valued customers and offers the chance to work with some of the UK's leading brands.

Role Details:

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 6 (Please note, due to industry demands, Saturday work may be required)

Available Shifts: Afternoon shifts starting between 10:30am and 13:00pm

Contract Type: Full-time

Salary (Pay Rate Structure):

Base Rate: £12.30

Night Premium: +£1.15 (10 pm - 6 am)

General Responsibilities:

* Delivering chilled, short-shelf-life products to customer locations

* Conducting daily inspections of the delivery vehicle before and after routes

* Loading and unloading deliveries

* Taking ownership of the overall care and maintenance of the delivery van

* Maintaining accurate logs and completing all necessary paperwork during routes

* Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements on the road and at customers' premises

* Taking responsibility for personal fitness to drive at all times

Requirements:

* Local Area Knowledge

A strong understanding of Worksop and the surrounding areas.

* Customer Service Experience

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

A positive, can-do attitude towards challenges.

* Clean Driving Record

No convictions (spent or otherwise) for careless/dangerous driving or driving under the influence of drink or drugs. Convictions for CD/DD-DR/DD within the last 5 years are not permitted.

* Highway Code Knowledge

A reasonable knowledge of the UK Highway Code and the ability to read and understand written instructions displayed on road signs.

* Work Experience

Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar working environment.
